Expo SDK 58 Beta: What's Actually Worth Testing

The SDK 58 beta (September 15) is the iOS 27 release. What actually matters:

• React Native 0.88 RC — incremental, no breaking changes from 0.85→0.86→0.88 path
• Scene-based lifecycle (mandatory) — iOS 27 requires UIKit scene lifecycle; Expo handles it, but test anything with custom window/root-view code
• Resizable iPhone apps — full-screen-only is dead; your layouts must flex
• App Intents for Siri + Apple Intelligence — the new integration surface; shipping intents now is early-mover territory
• New Expo UI components + Android widgets

Stable lands when RN 0.88 ships (~3–4 week beta). Test on a branch — Stock Picks is already running the beta in staging.
